Dear Danielle-
Thank you for your awareness and support! I just want to add that I encourage everyone to INVESTIGATE FURTHER when told a product is "non-toxic" and safe for pets. In my personal experience, just because something is sold in stores or even labeled "safe for pets" does not guarantee that it is. Many products on the market have not been specifically tested over the course of a pet's lifetime (20 years) to truly know whether or not it's safe or cancer-causing in the long run.

I never thought about it that way, I mean about every day household stuff we use. I have always been careful to keep my pets away but how do I know it hasn't affected them. Thank you for this great information.

THis is a great article and so true! Being a professional pet sitter and in people's homes, I really try hard to stress the importance of ingredients in anything in their home. For example, one of the pest control companies we recommend’s tag line is "we kill the pests, not your pets" and it is true! They use all green products that do not come with harsh toxins. If Fido or Fluffy were to lick the spots where they sprayed, they would not get sick. this is a very valid and important point. Thanks for posting this. :)

BTW - the company I write about is called Lady Bug pest control. They can be found at: http://www.ladybugcorp.com/home/
