Not sure what did what but he lived 8 months longer than anyone thought. However I was told that fish oil isn't the Best choice bc of mercury, and DHEA should be used. Just passing this along... We are supplementing for several reasons, including allergies. It seems to be the expert opinion that dogs do not benefit for flaxseed oil as humans do and fish oil source is needed to supplement omega-3. We are using pharmaceutical grade purified fish oil. How is it with dogs utilizing omega-3 from flaxseed then? Definitely agree with the benefit of omega-3. We are supplementing for several reasons, including allergies.

However, there hasn't been any full clinic tests whether these natural supplements and vitamins positively affects dogs, the results on humans have been very positive with almost no negative symptoms.
