My 15 year old pug, Duke, passed away from cancer on September 20, 2007...as I got him when I was 9 years old, he and I grew up together and he was the one constant thing in my life from the time I was 9 until I was 24 when he passed.  He taught me strength, love, and loyalty, and I'll always be grateful to him for that. I had a birthday on March 9 and asked my family to donate to your foundation in place of giving me birthday gifts...contributing to the happiness and life of another dog like my Duke would be the ultimate birthday gift...  Tara
