Sydney was our beautiful little girl who, for nine years, gave us unconditional love and loyal companionship.  We will miss the walks in the morning and at the park, the gentle paw poking to remind us that she is waiting by the dinner table, playing “monkey in the middle” each night or hockey in the driveway, her “talking” to greet us when one of us came home after being away or “sneezing” for a treat (but ONLY outside!), and most of all, just always being right there beside us.  She was the best dog anyone could have ever hoped for!  We only hope there are plenty of squirrels for her to chase in heaven!!

I hope those three are running wild and pain-free in Heaven over endless grassy hills. My kindest thoughts are with their family.

Ben, you were the sweetest boy.  We love you very much.  We miss you and think of you every day; but you probably already know that!  By the time we had an accurate diagnosis of cancer (not torn leg ligaments), there were very few options at Ben's age of 11.  We had 4 months with him after the diagnosis to spoil him even more than before and to say goodbye.  It seemed far too short, though after learning about canine cancer, we've discovered that we were blessed to have this time.  A cure really needs to be found!!
