Brett Bittner
Brett, Founder of Ask Spike Online. Brett was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, in a home filled with canines. He even followed the principles of responsible dog parenting he learned, rescuing an English Bulldog named Kida in 2001. Used by a breeder to produce litters of English Bulldog puppies, she was deemed worthless and tossed outside after being impregnated by a neighbor's dog. Through his network of canine contacts, he found out about her situation and offered to adopt her, saving her from what would have been a miserable existence and forming a friendship that would last beyond her passing in June of 2008, at the ripe old age of eleven. This relationship, coupled with his experiences with dogs his entire life, both at home and as a part of his family's business in pet grooming and boarding, it was a natural step in his career to launch a dog-centric business with Ask Spike Online in the fall of 2008. Partnering with a dog trainer and behaviorist of over twenty years, as well as her pretty terrific Golden Retriever and demonstration dog, Spike, Brett provides his readers with a free dog behavior resource on their website.

In addition to their efforts with dog behavior, Brett and Spike also work to re-unite lost dogs with their families with Spike's Lost and Found, as well as helping rescues, shelters, and fosters find forever homes for deserving dogs with Spike's Shelter Dogs. Locally, they work to promote area pet events and activities for families to attend with their pups in the Atlanta area.

Jack Goldenberg
Jack is an idea man, a serial entrepreneur and an advertising Copywriter and Creative Director. He has always been ahead of his time. He played a major role introducing McDonald’s Happy Meal, arguing with McDonald’s founder, Ray Kroc, who wanted to put the Happy Meal in a bag. In early 2008, he started selling Obama wristwatches at a tine when the future President’s chances of winning were not very strong. Goldenberg’s Obama Watches Company has produced 15 different watches and three of them are in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution. Goldenberg is President of his own company, Einstein da Vinci & Goldenberg, although he claims he’s not the genius in the company.
